When most people hear the word winter, their minds usually take them back to snow-laden sledding trips, or relaxing by the fireplace, or even celebrating the holidays with their loved ones. What does it smell like to most people? Woody like pine and balsam, fruity like cranberry and pomander, or even spicy like cinnamon and clove. For me personally, it smells like Balsam and Cedar!
When I think of winter, my mind transports me to a number of things. When I was a kid, my sisters and I would trek out back to these massive (I guess they were massive, I was very little at the time) dirt hills during snow days and sled all day. When we had enough of the cold, we would all head inside to see my mom making either her homemade hot chocolate or her chicken escarole soup.
I also tend to think about our holiday celebrations. My family always took Christmas very seriously and we would hold a huge celebration with our extended family, lots of homemade food, lots of games, drinking, and honestly just living our best lives. My favorite part has to be the food - we celebrate our own version of the La Festa dei Sette Pesci, or the feast of the seven fishes. Our holiday gatherings are always so meaningful to me and we make many great memories year after year.

Cypress Forest & Cassia Bark provides a unique experience to the typical woody and winter spice blend. Imagine the perfect snow day. Snow is falling and accumulating on your door step and there is a chill to the air in your home. This fragrance blend captures just that: fresh notes of coniferous cypress, fresh airy ozone and hints of chilly mint and eucalyptus. These notes give way to woody notes of evergreen, cedar, and fir and are rounded with a subtle blend of patchouli, winter spice, and smoky incense.
Smoked Clove & Orange Zest was inspired by lit fireplaces, cozy nights, and spiced pinecones. This powerful, comforting fragrance begins with strong notes of hot cinnamon, freshly grated ginger, and orange zest. Tart Cranberry & White Balsam offers a familiar, classy, and refined take on a popular flagship fragrance from our 2020 collections, Pineland Cranberry. This fragrance first emanates hints of herbal eucalyptus and lemon zest and gives way for a fruity cocktail of cranberries, black currant, and juniper. It is rounded out with light, airy, and earthy notes of balsam, fresh pine, and cedarwood.
